About Pavel Bendov

Pavel Bendov photographs architecture, interiors and design to stun. Executing each shot with expertise and empathy, he works with passion and steadfast attention to detail.

Originally from Belarus, Pavel refocused his photographic talent upon moving to New York in 2010. The stark contrast of architecture, culture and built environment here was empowering and inspiring. After various apprenticeships and collaborations with some of the industry’s leading photographers, he launched his professional career in architectural photography.

Pavel is a photographer who aims to effectively communicate his clients' vision through his photographs. He sees himself as a visual translator, taking the time and care to understand the client’s needs and articulate them through his images.

His client relationship stands strong throughout the entire process of each project - from planning to photographing and retouching, all of which are included in his services. Pavel Bendov captures the essence of architecture, interiors, and design, splitting his time between his studios in Los Angeles and New York.

Aside from his commercial architectural photography practice, Pavel devotes his time to developing new books, and practicing street photography.

Divided into ten 1- to 3-mile walks that extend from Columbia University through lower Manhattan and across to Brooklyn and Queens, this guidebook highlights over 150 buildings, popular destinations like the High Line and Lincoln Center, and trendy locations such as Williamsburg and the Bowery.
